The Director, Growth and GTM for Residential Lending Business Line at Manulife Bank will be responsible for the growth strategy and go-to-market (GTM) execution for residential lending. This leadership role demands a seasoned growth strategist who will take ownership of growth strategies across acquisition, engagement, retention, and expansion. The role also includes data-driven decision-making, digital transformation, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent and impactful growth. 

Key Responsibilities:

Growth Strategy & Execution

  •  Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy tailored to the Residential Lending, aligning with Manulife Bank’s long-term objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities, leveraging market research and competitive analysis.

Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution

  • Lead the planning, development and execution of go-to-market strategies for Residential ending, including product launches, expansion, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and customer experience / success teams to ensure the effective implementation of unified GTM strategies that meet the needs of diverse customer segments.
  • Collaborate with sales enablement to design tools, materials, and training that improve sales effectiveness and engagement.

Digital Transformation and Data Analytics

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives within the residential mortgage business, enhancing digital customer experiences and streamlining acquisition processes.
  • Oversee the utilization of data analytics to inform decision-making, track performance, and refine growth strategies for both residential mortgages and Asian segment-focused initiatives.
  • Implement agile marketing practices to quickly adapt to market changes and optimize campaign performance based on data-driven insights. 

Cross functional Leadership

  • Partner with the Growth and GTM functions and other departments and serve as a key liaison between the teams to ensure alignment on growth objectives, strategies, and the unified approach to achieve the objectives. 
  • Engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders to communicate growth strategies, performance metrics, and the impact of GTM activities on overall business objectives. 
  • Build and mentor a high performing team focused on delivering measurable outcomes. 
  • Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and accountability within the team, setting clear objectives and performance metrics aligned with business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, MBA preferred 
  • 12+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or GTM roles, with a proven track record in the financial services sector. Banking expertise preferred.
  • Extensive experience with digital marketing, customer segmentation, and data analytics, with a strong understanding of the Asian market segment.
  • Proven leadership skills with a history of successfully managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Desired Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of residential mortgage products and experience developing GTM strategies for financial products.
  • Proficiency in CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Google Analytics, Seismic).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and presenting to senior leadership.

Salary range is expected to be between

$103,050.00 CAD - $185,490.00 CAD
