The Squarespace Technical Program Management (TPM) team is looking for a Staff TPM to support our mission of helping teams to deliver top company priorities with efficiency and predictability. In this role, you will work with the Revenue Systems group, collaborating closely across Product Management, Engineering, and our executive team. You will lead the planning and execution of cross-functional, complex technical initiatives that address some of our most ambiguous and business-critical problems. Your responsibilities will include ensuring clear project/program planning, executive communication, transparent progress tracking, risk mitigation, and efficient delivery against high-priority company objectives. You will also work with the TPM leadership team to continually identify and execute on opportunities to improve the TPM practice at Squarespace as a whole.

This is a NYC-based role working from our office 2 days per week. You will report to the Senior Manager of Technical Program Management.

Who We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in a technical program manager (or similar) position, working through all phases of the product and software development lifecycle, influencing without direct authority and with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Significant and proven experience building rapport and working relationships with executive stakeholders. Earning their trust, communicating clearly and effectively, and deftly navigating strategic plans, roadmaps, prioritization conversations, timelines, trade-offs, and the needs of other stakeholders.
  • Significant and proven experience building trust and relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. Translating business needs into Product and Engineering requirements, while also representing Product and Engineering teams to business stakeholders. Track record of finding insightful, pragmatic, and scalable ways to promote alignment among various teams to produce positive change.
  • Experience implementing sustained improvements in group processes for communication, planning, execution, and prioritization.
  • Experience effectively managing change, pushing through friction and setbacks, and displaying leadership when juggling at-times conflicting business needs without sacrificing quality.
  • Prior experience & domain knowledge in Revenue Systems, FinTech, Financial Services, or similar industries
  • Strong working knowledge of the Atlassian suite and Google Workspace.

Cash Compensation Range: $148,500 - $239,200 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
