We’re looking for a PM to join our team to lead Content Safety & Quality at Snap Inc!

What you'll do:

  • Work with a team of cross-functional partners in the building of app features and content experiences that ensure Snapchatters of every age and living in any market are entertained in a safe environment.

  • Launch features and improvements that give Snapchatters greater control over the quality of their content experience, incorporate the needs of younger Snapchatters, and ensure we meet local regulatory requirements - within a privacy- and safety-by-design framework. 

  • Develop goals, strategy and roadmaps; own products and features from conception to launch and beyond

  • Set metrics that inform the success and impact of your products

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Legal, and Policy — align teams on a shared vision and steer execution towards that vision

  • Research, stay informed, and become an expert on changes in local and global laws & regulations 

  • Understand deeply the content needs of Snapchatters, and apply those learnings in the features you develop 

  • Develop and present go-forward recommendations with key stakeholders

  • Closely monitor and measure results of all features
     

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Ability to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced but collaborative and kind environment

  • A team player who can build trust with engineering, data science and other cross-functional teams

  • Define and analyze success metrics and input metrics for a large organization

  • Think creatively and approach problems with system-level thinking

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management and organizational skills

  • Deep analytical, prioritization and problem solving skills
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 4+ years of experience in a product development, engineering, or data science at a technology company
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passion for Snapchat and creative problem solving

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $168,000-$252,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $160,000-$239,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $143,000-$214,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
