Qualifications:
Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Masters in nursing, healthcare administration, business or related field preferred.
Certifications as applicable to assignment:
NRP, PALS, ACLS within twelve (12) months of hire required.
TNCC or ENPC and Stable within eighteen (18) months of hire required.
Minimum of three (3) years’ leadership experience required.
Previous Charge Nurse or Nurse Supervisor experience preferred.
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Job Specific Duties:
Assists with preparation of reporting tasks per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).
Actively assists in the evaluation, development, implementation, and revision of policies and procedures as applicable to assigned area(s).
Assists leadership in setting annual goals for the department and departmental operations and budgets; strives to implement procedures and processes to increase revenue as applicable to assigned area(s).
Participates in Administrator on Call (AOC).Leads the hiring process, preparation and delivery of evaluations and corrective action for assigned staff.
Expected to perform the following tasks regularly:
Creates work schedule and assigns employees to specific work tasks.
Trains and/or coordinates the training of assigned staff.
Manages successful completion of employees’ competency assessments and required training.
Manages the compliance and quality efforts for assigned area(s).

Schedule:
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
