This internship is anything but ordinary. If that’s what you’re looking for, keep reading. We are seeking a Product Management Intern join our team from May 19, 2025 to August 8, 2025. This is a full-time role during our summer hours, offering a hybrid work environment with three days in-office at our headquarters in Dublin, Ohio.

We are seeking a Trade Show and Marketing Events Intern for our summer internship program.

The Intern will assist the Events team consisting of the Conference and Exhibits Manager, Sr. Conference and Events Coordinator, and the Employee Engagements and Events Planner in the continued planning, analysis, and execution of OCLC’s internal and external events.

Responsibilities:

The Trade Show and Marketing Event Intern’s activities would include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with FY26 Event Selection process:
    • Organize the FY25 conference list in preparation for the FY26 selection process.
    • Research CFP (Call for Proposal) submissions and report and communicate on findings.
  • Assist with metrics and data collection:
    • Research and analyze previous quarter’s metrics for FY25 to ensure metrics are complete.
    • Pull and organize metrics for monthly reporting to Sales
  • Assist with external and internal event planning and post-event activities:
    • Attend Planning meetings with Exhibit House and Core Planning Teams
    • Assist with the creation of event project lists such as a Run of Show and Booth Staffing Schedule
    • Assist with post event activities such as lead assignment and metrics
    • Select and order catering, decor or transportation
    • Update Internal Resources page to include vital information for the events
  • Other duties as assigned by the Events Team

Qualifications:

  • One year or more of college with coursework focused on events, marketing or similar.
  • Ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions with a willingness to ask questions is required.
  • Experience with event planning and execution a plus.
  • Experience with software such as Salesforce a plus.
  • Experience with AI technologies, including practical application in projects or coursework a plus.
