What You Will Do:

Role Definition

Develops, oversees, and strives to maximize the efficiency of the targeted logistics, distribution and/or transportation networks necessary to provide end-to-end supply chains, typically for 1 location.

Responsibilities

• Designing and optimizing logistics plans and targeted processes to meet supply chain demands and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Managing a team of staff to evaluate and implement logistics programs and activities in compliance with related regulations for an organization.
• Developing mechanisms and metrics to monitor and forecast costs, savings and performance for targeted transportation modes.
• ASCM Certification Logistics Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) highly desired.

What Skills You Will Have:

• Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
• Warehouse Management: Knowledge of the policies, processes and systems of warehouse management; ability to effectively manage one or more warehouses or distribution centres
• Distribution Centre Management: Knowledge of distribution processes, issues and considerations; ability to effectively manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory to stores and/or customers.
• Inventory Management: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage organization's materials, commodities, merchandises, or products.
• Logistics Management: Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials; ability to understand, predict and control the movement of goods, materials and supplies.
• Supply Chain Management: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and implement strategies, practices and tools for controlling the whole processes.

Required Qualifications:

Degree or equivalent experience desired

Desired Qualifications:

• Top candidates will also have strong English communication skill

Additional Information:

• Travel international and domestic

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
