Job Description
 

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SQL developer to help our IT Data and Application Management team in developing, optimizing and maintaining our reconciliation platform and support the team in managing the master data management system (MDM).

Responsibilities

  • Work closely in the team to manage the entire development lifecycle of our SQL-based data reconciliation platform (from requirements analysis/definition to development, testing, rollout and maintenance);
  • Design and implement additional integrations into the reconciliation platform;
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and provide solutions for them to ensure scalability of the reconciliation platform;
  • Collaborate with application owners, business analysts and other stakeholders to understand additional requirements and implement them;
  • Support the team in further development of the central master data management system (MDM), with main focus on integrations from and to the MDM solution; act as backup for the MDM application manager.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or related discipline with IT focus;
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL);
  • Experienced with data reconciliation, database and file-based integrations;
  • Familiar with ETL processes;
  • Understanding of data architecture and data modelling;
  • Interest in new technologies and willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics;
  • Solution and goal-oriented personality with strong analytical and conceptual skills;
  • Structured working style with attention to detail;
  • First work experience in the financial industry and specific knowledge in asset management as a plus;
  • Good communication skills in English and German.
