Broadway Brands is a theater media company with a portfolio of brands including Broadway Briefing, Broadway News, Broadway Business, and Broadway Theater District. We seek to build creative, informative, and inspiring products for a variety of audiences on Broadway and beyond. Broadway Brands is seeking a communications and media intern. This intern will assist in the creation and management of Broadway Briefing, a daily newsletter for Broadway and theater professionals. This morning tipsheet reaches a unique and dedicated readership of the most influential players, business owners, and thought leaders in theater (who are, after all, Broadway’s biggest fans, too). They will assist in communicating with Briefing readers and press representatives, and in the curation of the morning newsletter. Interns will assist in researching and aggregating information about the industry, including performance times, and social media posts from industry members. They may also assist in social media posting for Broadway Brands products. Communications interns may have the opportunity to attend events and write event coverage on behalf of Broadway Briefing. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Assist in the creation and management of Broadway Briefing

  • Assist in communicating with Briefing readers and press representatives, and in the curation of the morning newsletter.

  • Assist in researching and aggregating information about the industry, including performance times, and social media posts from industry members.

  • assist in social media posting for Broadway Brands products.

  • Communications interns may have the opportunity to attend events and write event coverage on behalf of Broadway Briefing.
