About the role (What you’ll be doing)

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Business Operations Associate to support the growth and efficiency of our Biz Ops function. In this role, you will play a key part in helping our UK team execute our strategic goals, designing processes and running BAU by providing research, recommendations, clear modelling and data to support them.

You’ll own some of the highest priority initiatives in the business, coordinating across our growth, operations and services teams to scope & deliver on them. You’ll also support on driving data-centric decisions and building scalable processes. You’ll help to amplify business impact and create visibility on performance, enabling the company to move quickly and effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Collaborate on business operations projects: Support the design, implementation, and execution of critical business operations initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and scalability.
  • Strategic modelling & analytical support: Provide data-driven modelling and scenario analysis to assist the team in strategic thinking, business forecasting, and high-level decision-making processes.
  • Execute operational improvements: Assist in managing and executing projects to optimize business processes, enhance cross-functional collaboration, and drive operational excellence across the company.
  • Develop presentations and key messaging materials: Craft impactful narratives and strategic content for the UK leadership team to drive alignment, effectively communicate the company’s vision, and key updates.
  • Plan and coordinate office rituals: Organise and execute team-building events and office rituals to foster a collaborative and engaging work environment.
  • Manage a team of high-performing doers: Lead and mentor junior team members that support the office and the leadership team.

About you (Who you are)

Skills & Experience

  • Ideally 2-3+ years experience across consulting (MBB preferred) or 3-4 years in a high-growth startup.
  • Mastery of Google Sheets/Excel: You can create analysis at speed & create models that are easy to understand and audit.
  • Drive in ambiguous & fast-paced environments: Your curiosity drives you to ask ‘why?’ to get to the next level of understanding; and you can work at speed.
  • Attention to detail: You have a high bar for ‘correct’, and work through nuances in the data to surface when an insight can be relied on and when it can’t.
  • Problem-solving: You are an excellent problem solver who is naturally curious, with an ability to get to simple quickly.
  • Communication: You are an excellent communicator, you’re able to get to simple, fast.
  • Bonus points if you have experience writing SQL queries, have prior team management experience, and excel as an executional powerhouse.
