What we are looking for:

Under the supervision of the Manager of Cash Administration and Reconciliation, Portfolio Administration, the Intern, Portfolio Administration will support the servicing team, traders, and portfolio managers with daily operational activities. This role is designed to provide practical experience in cash administration, reconciliation, and investment operations while developing a strong understanding of how an asset management firm operates.

Your responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily cash balance calculations and reporting

  • Collaborate with external counterparties and internal teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies

  • Help reconcile cash, transactions, and holdings with custodians

  • Assist with entering and validating transactions in portfolio accounting systems

  • Help maintain accurate and up-to-date information across systems

  • Support the preparation of reconciliation reports as required

  • Work with internal teams to provide timely and professional support

  • Assist with ongoing projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

Must have requirements to be successful in this role:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

  • Interest in investment operations, portfolio administration, or asset management

  • Completion or pursuit of coursework or certifications such as the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is an asset, but not required

  • Positive team attitude and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
     

Additional Information:

  • Fiera Capital adheres to a hybrid working environment with 4 days in-office per week.

  • Duration of internship: 4 months (starting May 2026)
