Assist in identifying use cases, documenting requirements, testing tools, and measuring impact (time saved, quality improvements, consistency).
Support data organization and light engineering tasks (e.g., dataset creation/cleanup, prompt libraries, workflow automation, dashboards), while maintaining strong controls around confidentiality and data handling.
Create repeatable processes and clear documentation so solutions can be scaled across the team.
Investment Underwriting (ad hoc)
Support the assessment of new opportunities across all stages of the underwriting process, including industry research, financial analysis, and portfolio data analysis. Assist with preparing investment screening materials, developing financial models, performing financial analysis, and conducting sector analysis using primary and secondary research.
Assist in due diligence on new private equity fund commitments, including analyzing the performance of prior funds and investments, benchmarking results, and evaluating the firm’s strategy and team. Contribute to the preparation of approval memos and presentation materials.
Participate in monitoring portfolio companies and private equity funds, including preparing quarterly and annual investment reviews.
Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, ideally a joint Technical and Business degree, dual major, or major-minor combination. Technical degrees include Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, and other closely related disciplines.
Strong interest in investing, company building, and applying AI to knowledge-work processes.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Strong written and communication skills - able to synthesize and articulate thoughts in a structured manner.
Strong attention to detail.
Highly motivated self-starter and team player, able to take initiative, prioritize, and run on own with limited guidance.
Demonstrated project and time management skills in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with modern AI/LLM capabilities and limitations (prompting, evaluation, basic RAG concepts, safety/privacy considerations).
Experience with data tooling, workflow automation, or building prototypes.
Application Instructions:
Submit your resume, cover letter, academic transcript, and work term evaluation (if any) in a single PDF file.
Salary range is expected to be between:
