As a Senior Innovation Advisor in our Paris office, you will play a strategic role in driving innovation and efficiency across our legal services. You will collaborate closely with lawyers, business teams, and personal assistants, spearheading initiatives that enhance client value and support our continuous improvement culture. Your remit will extend across identifying and delivering innovative solutions, championing LegalTech, and embedding new ways of working within the practice.
This role requires strong communication, influencing, and facilitation skills, along with a deep commitment to continuous improvement, and strong business acumen having affinity for both business and technology improvement.
Main components:
Implement and manage LegalTech solutions (including GenAI solutions) for matters handled in the Paris office and across Europe.
Lead and support innovation initiatives within the Paris office and coordinate the follow-up of these initiatives at European and global level.
Your key responsibilities:
Innovation strategy and delivery: Identify, design, and deliver innovation initiatives that drive internal and client-facing efficiency. Take a leading role in assessing opportunities for improvement in legal service delivery, including technology, process, and resourcing.
Legal Tech leadership: Deliver LegalTech solutions on matters within the Paris office and across Europe, e.g. by applying our Artificial Intelligence solutions or setting up and managing workspaces in our deal and matter management platforms
Project and change management: Apply robust project management methodologies to innovation projects, ensuring the successful implementation of solutions. Oversee planning, coordination, issue-tracking, and change management, providing regular updates to senior stakeholders.
Stakeholder engagement: Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders including partners, lawyers, PA’s and Business Teams. Influence and mentor colleagues to foster a culture of innovation and knowledge-sharing.
Knowledge sharing and training: Share best practices internally and assist partners and lawyers on the solutions offering. Nurture a culture of continuous improvement across the office together with a guiding coalition of partners and lawyers.
Market monitoring: Stay abreast of innovations in legal operations and emerging LegalTech trends. Attend relevant training, industry conferences, and global internal events to bring new ideas to the Paris office.
Performance measurement: Develop and apply metrics to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of innovation initiatives, report on outcomes and make recommendations for future improvements.
Collaboration: Work with innovation colleagues globally to ensure alignment of strategy, participation in global projects, and sharing of knowledge between offices. Work with Business Development and Marketing (BD&M) to explore client-facing innovation events.
Your experience:
Substantial experience (typically two to five years or more) in a legal operations, innovation, or business improvement role within a law firm, consulting environment, or professional services organisation.
Previous experience in successfully developing and/or implementing innovation and business/ IT improvement initiatives.
Proven track record in delivering technology-enabled transformation projects, ideally in a legal environment.
Language requirements:
Excellent written and oral skills in French and English.
Education / Qualification:
Minimum level: Bac + 5.
Optional: Law degree and/or project management certification (for example Prince2 or IPMA).

The Team:
You will be part of the dynamic TMT (Technology, Media, Telecommunications) team as a valued and strategic contributor to the firm’s innovation agenda, reporting directly to the Paris innovation partners.
While you will be based within the TMT team, your role as Senior Innovation Advisor will be truly cross-practice. You will work closely with all practice groups, lawyers, PA’s, and business teams across the Paris office. Your work will have firmwide impact, as you collaborate to design and implement innovative solutions supporting client service and internal operations throughout the office.
