Our Global Operational Excellence Department is dedicated to ensuring our processes run smoothly while driving continuous performance improvement. Our strategy focuses on enhancing our sites' capabilities to deliver improvements in cost and margin, while also developing our operational maturity and competency.

Our team consists of three Operational Excellence Leaders, each of which is a subject matter expert in their domain, accountable for their own part of the Operational Excellence cycle. We are now searching for a replacement manager to join our team, who will be focused on the Nutreco Performance Process. This role is pivotal in creating and streamlining KPIs, scorecards, benefits programs, and performance tracking processes. Emphasizing the benefits of standardization and automation, the Performance Process Leader will collaborate closely with the Global Operational Excellence team, OpCo Operations Directors, local OE Leads, and Plant/Operations Managers to ensure robust Business Performance Management processes are in place to achieve our Excellence goals.

About The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage dashboards for priority KPIs in operations, maintenance, and process excellence using Power BI. Provide training and support to all Business Units (BUs) and Operating Companies (OpCos).

  • Perform top-down financial data and performance analysis for BUs and OpCos to identify improvement opportunities, leverage technologies, and facilitate site groupings for enhanced continuous improvement efforts.

  • Develop and deliver bootcamp modules to support Excellence Managers in the areas of operations, maintenance, and process optimization.

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in an Operational Excellence function within a large, global organization.

  • Excellent knowledge of creating and maintaining models and dashboards in Power BI.

  • Experience in project management

  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Expectation from Role:

  • Ensure a robust and credible process to capture benefits from all Excellence work in BUs and OpCos. Track productivity-driving benefits from operations performance management, capital projects, or non-capital projects.

  • Own the OE Benefits Tracker to maintain full visibility of opportunities, identified projects, completed projects, flightpaths, and gaps for all sites globally. Ensure robust tracking of financial and CO2 delivery towards goals within the OE dashboard.

  • Agree on Leading KPIs (in line with the roadmap and maturity of the program), and manage, train, and develop systems (Power BI) across all BU/OpCos.

Why You Will Love Working with Us

Global Benefits:

  • A full-time position in an international, dynamic environment.

  • Competitive remuneration package, good pension scheme, and 30 vacation days.

  • Opportunities for professional growth within Nutreco and the broader SHV group.

  • Opportunity to travel globally around 40% of the time.

  • Flexibility to work from anywhere in Europe.
