Manager - IT Business Partner - Financial Planning
Position Summary
We are on the lookout for a proactive Manager – IT Business Partner for Financial Planning at GGH. This role is designed for a strategic leader who will bridge the gap between Finance and Planning IT, acting as a trusted advisor. The successful candidate will be the technology functional expert on Financial Planning Processes. With a comprehensive systems view, this role involves collaboration with various functions to ensure cohesive enterprise processes. The IT Business Partner will proactively manage planning technology strategies, discover solutions, and oversee service delivery, aiming to share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities, and improve business units' efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Deliverables
- Serve as the principal Financial Planning IT liaison for the Finance team, driving the adoption of enterprise financial planning IT systems, services, and capabilities.
- Capture business needs, requirements, and priorities, translating them into project charters/change requests across finance planning key processes.
- Consult and support Finance and other departments, being the primary Financial Planning IT escalation point.
- Enable the Finance team to meet their objectives through strategic use of financial planning system technology.
- Co-develop and implement financial planning system solution portfolios and roadmaps in conjunction with the business.
- Design a long-term vision for finance planning systems landscapes with technology teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Guarantee successful financial planning system rollouts across the organization and to customers.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders for multi-year financial planning system requirements, facilitating knowledge sharing across teams.
- Work with the IT PMO and Governance team on project intake and prioritization.
- Ensure financial planning solution alignment within the overall system architecture in collaboration with Enterprise Engineering and IT Operations teams.
- Drive the adoption of financial planning and analysis solutions, ensuring they are understood and utilized effectively.
- Maintain marketing and training documentation on solutions to foster user competence and system utilization.
- Develop a roadmap for future system enhancements to align with evolving business needs.
- Onboard sites onto standard solutions, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Train end-users, enhancing their proficiency and ensuring they can leverage the full potential of the systems.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- 10+ years of experience with finance systems, services, and business processes.
- 7+ years of experience in software development and managing end-to-end program execution.
- A customer-first attitude with a deep understanding of finance operations and business processes.
- Strong leadership skills, from strategic thinking to resourcefulness.
- Ability to clearly communicate with technical and non-technical audiences and manage multiple stakeholder interfaces.
- Independent, self-driven with a proven track record of project accountability.
- Proficient in managing priorities and meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a globally dispersed setting.
- Highly organized, capable of handling multiple tasks while maintaining focus on high-priority issues.
