Business Management and Systems Lead Print Category

Description -

Print Category is responsible for the business and P&L management across Home and Office print segments with the main goals of growing HP share and profitability. The Business Management and Systems Lead in the Print Category Team plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and system integration within the Print division. This position is responsible for leading the strategic planning, implementation, and management of systems and processes that enable efficient business operations, data-driven decision-making, and seamless coordination across functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate organizational cadence, calendar management, and communication processes to ensure clarity, structure, and alignment within the organization.

  • Manage key operational processes for the Print Category, including overseeing the creation and maintenance of templates, forecasts, presentations, and working files for initiatives such as Gameplans.

  • Provide system and infrastructure support by leveraging global tools and developing localized solutions, including planning files, reports, and platforms like Anaplan and Thoughtspot.

  • Conduct in-depth business analytics for the different Print Categories, focusing on market sizing, market share, pricing analysis, and other critical performance metrics.

  • Serve as the point of contact for special projects, such as training sessions, events, and other ad-hoc initiatives.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or equivalent work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically, 1-2 years of business/category management, sales or business analytical experience

  • Learning Agility: Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, technologies, and industry trends, with a strong willingness to continuously develop skills and knowledge.

  • Ambitious: The mindset to learn more about Category and grow within the Print Category team.

  • Digital Fluency: Proficiency in navigating and leveraging digital tools and platforms to enhance productivity, collaboration, and business outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of Office 365, especially Microsoft Excel: Proficiency in utilizing Office 365 tools with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data management, analysis, and reporting.

  • Analytical: Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.

  • Data Analysis: Skilled in interpreting data to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities that drive business improvements.

  • Data Visualization: Expertise in presenting complex data in a visually compelling and easy-to-understand format, utilizing charts, graphs, and other tools to communicate insights.

  • Competitive Intelligence: Expertise in monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting competitor activities and market conditions to inform strategic decisions.

  • Market Intelligence: Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret market data to understand industry trends, customer behavior, and market dynamics.

  • Business Strategies: Strong understanding of developing and implementing strategies to enhance business operations, drive growth, and maintain competitive advantage.

  • Effective Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Dutch to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences.
