SUMMARY 

The Business Analyst position focuses on the coordination, accounting, planning and administration functions of the Federal Aviation Administrations (FAA) Urban Air Mobility (UAM) office. Provide business analysis, administrative and logistics support, and coordination, tracking/refinement of various technical projects. This full-time position is hybrid to the Washington, D.C. area; working on average 2 days in office, 3 days remote.

Must be able to obtain a FAA Public Trust Security Clearance investigation for access to facilities, equipment and property.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS  

Must be able to obtain a FAA Public Trust Security Clearance investigation for access to facilities, equipment and property. 

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.  

Knowledge of FAA practices with background in unmanned aircraft, air mobility, autonomous systems a plus.
 

Requires a variety of advanced skills such as developing  PLA’s, maintaining databases and using advanced computer skills and including working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) 

Skilled in facilitating teamwork and coordinating efforts for the successful achievement of goals.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills with solid presentation skills. 

Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills. Ability to schedule, plan and lead meetings and testing site logistics. 

Ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team environment. 

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

Manages executive’s IOU’s with respect to contract and task requirements, formalized milestones, resource development, goals, objectives and schedules. 

Responsible for coordinating meetings, keeping track of calendar requests, and overseeing the day-to-day logistics of the executive team. May take the lead or co-lead in project-level groups and executive coordination. 

Prepares, writes and edits a variety of correspondence in accordance with the customers guidelines including spreadsheets, presentations and charts, and PLA’s

Maintains schedules in preparation for testing schedules and stakeholder meetings. 

Coordinates video, telecommunications and meeting spaces. 

Must be able/willing to take on challenges, execute in small windows of time, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Ability to efficiently multi-task and take direction easily, remaining flexible as support needs evolve. 

Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and open to travel from 0-30% of the time, if required.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
