In this role
As a Senior Technical Data Analyst, you will collaborate with our key internal stakeholders gathering requirements and documenting using standard analysis methodologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI) knowledge and tools while working closely with the Product Owners on various use cases.
Other duties will include:
Converts business needs into functional designs using knowledge of Machine Learning and Cloud (AWS) and prioritise work and deliverables according to specified timeframes
Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts to business processes because of system or application changes
Work closely with POs on platform and service management activities like platform lifecycle activities, licensing, user management, Risk in Change, system capacity/performance analysis, vulnerability management and related reporting
Analyse and document business/functional processes and requirements using standard analysis methodologies and tools.
Identify project/system delivery issues and risks, assist with mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary
Provide support and participate in testing activities including unit testing, BA testing and system testing
Provide on-going assistance to support teams for functionality released into production
Evaluate effectiveness of solution delivery (SDLC) tools, processes and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement
Undertake any other tasks assigned by your manager that you have the capability to perform safely in line with relevant internal Bank policies and external regulatory requirements.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have
Demonstrated business and technical analysis experience with an understanding of the analytics applications and systems (machine learning and Cloud)
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices with practical experience with common CICD tools (e.g. GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker etc.) is desirable
Good to Have Knowledge on Visualisation, Reporting etc.
Experience of working on public cloud (AWS) is desirable
Software and solution delivery lifecycle experience
Experience working on technology enabled projects
Background in managing and delivering technical structured artefacts (e.g. Functional/System specifications or use cases)
