The Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for collection and return of all premium invoiced by the Agency. Answer questions regarding billing from both internal and external customers. Request return premium checks, deposits payments and posts to agent accounts. Provide support for company payables..

This position will be in Valencia, California, and eligible for hybrid at managers discretion.  This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship. 

What will you do?

  • Generate monthly producer statements for distribution to agents.
  • Receives vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
  • Handles incoming calls and emails from customers regarding direct bill and agency bill questions.
  • Reviews incoming checks and ACH/wire transactions daily.
  • Reviews refund journal and or statements for accounts with return premium owed.
  • Reviews refund journal and or statements for accounts with return premium owed.
  • Reviews and enters carrier commission statements. Prepares commission payment batch in accounting software.

  • High school diploma or GED and two years college or equivalent work experience.
  • basic math and general accounting principals.

In accordance with state pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith salary range estimate is being provided.  The salary range for this job is $21 - $25 per hour based on the primary posting location of Valencia, California.  Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
