The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Information Security Administration (ISA) Service Delivery is a global organization within CISO with 600+ staff located across the globe.  IAM ISA Service Delivery manages entitlement and provisioning of access for internal Citi employee / contractors and increasingly for external Citi clients who are using Citi applications.  IAM ISA Service Delivery works in partnership with CISO to build appropriate security architecture in new apps and supports large business driven technology projects related to information security issues.

Lead a portfolio of applications and manage a team of ~10 members who develop and/or execute security solutions for multiple functional areas. Responsible for volume, quality, and timeliness of service deliver for managed portfolio. Provide security oversight for new systems and major system releases by reviewing system security capabilities, recommending improvements, and approving designs as part of the system development lifecycle. Identify the need for and develop new and improved procedures and process control manuals. Full people management responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of the team.

This role will provide opportunities to deepen the knowledge of the special characteristics of a global team within a multinational company. This role also provides opportunity to develop the people and the project management skills, to plan and get prepared for the upcoming milestones, which effect the team’s daily operation.

What you will do:

  • Develop and drive a high-performance team by recruiting the right skills sets for the team and conducting regular one-on-one meetings with each full-time staff member, ensure appropriate training is provided to the team, encourage personal development plans, and deliver specific ongoing feedback at every opportunity.
  • Mentor and coach individuals within and/or outside of their team
  • Check and review implementation of already established security procedures within the framework of specific system assignments, focusing on the full scope of IAM Service Catalogue requirements for simple thru complex, multi-tiered applications. Responsible for the service/compliance quality and accuracy
  • Ensure adherence to pre-assigned SLO requirements for designated requests at team level.
  • Effectively use Talent Management process and system to drive performance team. Leverages Individual Development Plan process to increase performance. Holds others accountable for performance on common goals. Addresses performance issues.
  • Apply best practices in coaching on a daily basis. Works with others to identify development needs and resources. Provides team leadership.
  • Understand and applies complex decision-making processes. Seeks out input from all involved stakeholders. Comprehends all risks in decision-making. Involved in higher level decisions.
  • Utilize effective interpersonal techniques. Strong communicator.  Effectively uses influence to build support for key initiatives. Understands how to motivate individuals and teams to drive results.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of end-to-end Citi products, processes, policies, regulations, and governance. Initiates process changes and improvements based on Lean methodology.
  • Able to handle simple thru complex, multi-tiered escalations, problems by utilizing key information security administration practices, policies and providing excellent customer service. Lead to resolve severity escalations and responsible for the team to identify root cause and create corrective action plan(s) as necessary.
  • Represent and support IAM ISA Service Delivery on compliance calls, meetings with Audit. Collect and analyze evidence (deliverables) with internal/external compliance and auditing agencies / officials.
  • Identify registers and resolves potential compliance issues. Responsible for closure and keeping the inventory up-to-date. Drive and encourage IS culture. Accountable for accuracy of ISA inventory.
  • Approve annual review of Process Control Manual documents associated with specific systems assigned.
  • Assist the Functional Manager and Site Head to lead the employee engagement activities and liaise with business and site champions to manage action plans against VOE initiatives.
  • Partner with IAM Site Leadership to ensure operational needs are met on CISO (Chief Information Security Office) or CSC (Citi Solution Center) level.
  • Interpret and guide others in the principle of Information Security concepts and policies; and develops and implements into day-to-day work. Ability to explain principles behind IS/IAM policies and guidelines.
  • Communicate the need for change to remain competitive. Involves others in the change process.  Understands complex change theory and how to overcome resistance to change. Drives change from start to finish.
  • Inspire others through communication of Citi, organization and department vision, strategy and goals. Aligns work to Citi, organization and department vision, strategy and goals. Develops strategy and SMART goals for key initiatives. Ensures accountability for goal achievement.

Your profile:

  • 5+ years’ experience in an Information Security Administration environment (ISA provisioning, compliance reviews, incident/change management handling security engineering or related IS field) is desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher desired or the candidate should have proven equivalent work experience.
  • Technical experience in security administration supporting a large user environment.
  • Solid understanding of industry standard security practices desirable.
  • Good command of English language (both verbal and written).
  • SSCP/CISSP/ITIL/PMP/Citi Lean certificate is an advantage.
  • Be able to work independently and without any influence from manager.
  • Ability to manage multiple efforts and adjust priorities with evolving work efforts.
  • Strong people management skills focusing on development and growth of team.
  • Analytical and detail oriented.
  • Proven use of discretion and judgment given the subject sensitivity of the work data.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Developed diplomacy skills are required to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information.
