Introduction:  

As Digital Strategy Lead, you will be reporting to Digital Manufacturing Senior Director. You are responsible to define and align digital aspirations among Fab leadership. In this role you will assess current digital effort, refine and refresh digital manufacturing roadmap across global fabs. You will lead a team of translators and digital analysts, set up OneGF digital approach (ideation, prioritization, PoC, Scale-up readiness, Scaling and sustain) and operationalize across use case pods. 

 

Your Job:   

  • Assess digital maturity across Fabs and refresh digital manufacturing visions, roadmaps and enablers. 

  • Collaborate with Fab operations team across all levels to review operations pain points and performance gaps, scope digital use cases, build business cases, work with Digital Ecosystem Partnership team and GFIT to outline “make”, “buy” or “partnership” options, identify process change required and implementation risks, and set up use case teams  

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Finance and GFIT to establish use case valuation principles, use case go/no-go decision workflow, and data and IP risk management framework 

  • Select and coach digital translators and analysts to drive formulation of digital roadmap  

  • Support Digital Manufacturing Global Lead for executive leadership alignment and digital strategy reviews 

  • Work with Digital Manufacturing Program Office to craft change stories, develop change communication cadence across top leadership to frontline staff, identify change champions and focus areas for cultural change 

  • Collaborate with Central Manufacturing Excellence team to embed digital use cases to Operations value creation plans   

  • Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to the team fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, innovation and embracing growth mindset for continuous improvement.

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; an MBA degree from a top program is preferred. 

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in management consulting or corporate strategy development, execution, and project management is preferred. 

  • Exceptional planning and analytical skills, ability to discern research information/data and focus on critical business issues. 

  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and mitigating risks. 

  • Proven strategic leadership experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry. Alternatively, experience in digital manufacturing strategies in large digital factories is also considered. 

  • Exceptional presentation and written communication skills. 

  • Excellent knowledge with MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 

  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
