Job Description

The HP Large Format Business Manager in Poland is part of the HP Large Format Sales Team and is responsible for the HP DesignJets + HP PageWideXL product lines.

The position reports to the HP Large Format Sales Manager for Central & Eastern Europe.

The regional sales responsibility will be Poland (and most likely Ukraine, Greece and Cyprus) and will work closely with our certified HP Large Format Resellers, Large Corporate/Public Sector Accounts and HP Wholesalers.

Internal key contacts will be the HP Large Format Central&Eastern Europe Sales Team, Large Format Category + Marketing Manager + Technical Pre-Sales Team as well as the HP Large Format Central Team and the local HP Account Sales Team.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Total sales responsibility for Poland (and further assigned countries) for HP DesignJets and HP PageWide XL products for resellers, end customers + wholesale business (including carepack services + supplies for related hardware product lines).
  • Target driven sales management (revenue, sell out, market share) + define corrective actions to meet + exceed sales quota within given flexibility.
  • Promotion planning + execution together with our HP certified large format resellers with given HP marketing development funds (MDF) flexibility
  • Business management including accurate forecasting + funnel management on assigned product lines
  • Support HP account managers and provide business development and solution expertise for HP DesignJets + HP PageWideXL products.
  • Grow online business (low-end portfolio) and contractual business (mid-range/high-end portfolio) with certified HP resellers.
  • Manage + monitor partner sales + service certifications

Education and Experience Required:

  • University or bachelor's degree. Directly related previous work experience.
  • Extensive selling experience within Large Format printing industry and/or related products.
  • Typically 8-12 years of advanced sales experience.
  • Track-record on strong business acumen, result & performance driven sales execution + project management experience.
  • Languages: Polish + business fluent English
  • Car driving license

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Is considered an expert with knowledge of products, solution or service offerings as well as competitor's offerings to be able to sell HP large format printing solutions. (HP DesignJets +HP PageWideXL)
  • Deep understanding on channel business
  • Deep understanding on online business
  • Ability to motivate partner's sales force.
  • Strong communication skills at senior management level, internally and externally
  • Understands and applies program/project management methods and processes to define, plan, cost, resource, track and ensure successful pursuit.
  • Account planning and precise forecasting skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills + ability to derive sales activities
  • Channel partner & end-customer centric approach
  • Team player - strong collaboration within the HP Central&Eastern Europe Large Format printing team + ability to work autonomously
  • Negotiation skills and ability to frame the different product/solution value proposition to channel partners & end-customers up so C-level + ability to close deals
  • Results & performance driven, with a strong focus on execution. Proven track record of hitting business goals successfully
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade
  • Deep knowledge of large format printing products, solution, contractual or service offerings as well as competitor's offerings.
  • Good understanding of general IT network/IT infrastructure/ remote monitoring solutions
  • Highly motivated + problem solving oriented.
  • Travel time up to 50%.
