Introduction
hyperexponential (hx) is transforming the traditional insurance industry with our innovative SaaS platform, hx Renew. Insurers rely on hx Renew to build powerful mathematical models that enable smarter, faster pricing decisions—whether that’s calculating premiums for Adele’s global concert tour or safeguarding California’s public buildings against earthquakes.
As hx enters 2025, we are building a high-performing Sales Development Organisation as a cornerstone of our continued growth. Rather than growing through sheer headcount, we are committed to driving outsized efficiencies by leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including AI and automation, to optimize our SDR function.
The SDR Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in enabling this vision. You’ll act as the connective tissue between our SDR, Marketing, and Sales functions, ensuring seamless data flow and driving operational excellence across the demand generation funnel. By automating workflows, optimizing our tech stack, and surfacing actionable insights, you will empower our SDR team to focus on what matters most: unlocking high-value opportunities and building meaningful connections with hard-to-reach personas.
Responsibilities
Optimize SDR Operations:
Design, monitor, and improve SDR workflows and processes, ensuring seamless collaboration between Marketing, SDRs, and Sales.
Surface key metrics, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable insights to improve SDR performance and pipeline generation.
Leverage AI & Automation:
Implement AI-driven and automated solutions to streamline repetitive tasks, optimize lead handling, and free up SDRs to focus on high-quality engagements.
Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Tooling & Tech Stack Management:
Oversee and optimize the SDR tech stack, ensuring all tools are effectively integrated and performing at peak efficiency.
Identify and implement improvements to tools and processes, working closely with Sales and Marketing Ops.
Data-Driven Decision-Making:
Analyze outbound messaging and cadence performance to identify what works and what doesn’t, driving continuous improvement.
Monitor lead allocation and ensure adherence to SLAs, maximizing ROI from marketing campaigns.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with the SDR Leader to align resources, support campaign initiatives, and ensure smooth execution of account-based strategies.
Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams in London and New York to ensure alignment across the funnel.
Team Alignment
You will report into the SDR Organisation while working as a key member of the both the Revenue and Marketing Operations teams.
Collaboration is central to this role: you will work closely with SDRs, Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales teams globally.
Persona
We are seeking a strategic problem solver with an eye for detail and a passion for driving operational excellence through technology:
Experience:
2 years of experience in Sales, Revenue, or SDR Operations, or direct experience as an SDR or SDR leader transitioning into operations.
Familiarity with sales technologies and automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, Gong/Gong Engage, HubSpot, or similar platforms).
Skills:
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and present actionable insights.
Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional relationships and processes.
Knowledge of AI and automation tools is a significant advantage.
Mindset:
A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Detail-oriented and organised, with a focus on delivering measurable results.
