Overview

Expand your knowledge of leaves of absence (LOA) by coordinating details from the initial claim to receipt of claim to return-to-work, ensuring all processes and federal and state regulations are followed. You'll also enhance your working knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, and ADA, comparable state regulations, some international regulations, and case management experience. Responsibilities

  • Engage with employees in the interactive process for medical accommodations
  • Coordinate all leave types including FMLA, CFRA, STD, LTD, military, and state mandated in partnership with our leave carrier
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and employee relations team by providing information to support employment decisions when approved leave time is exhausted
  • Partner with leave manager on ADA requests for reasonable accommodation
  • Liaison with third-party administrator, MetLife
  • Maintain close contact with employees and keep managers informed about expected duration, return to work dates, extensions, etc.
  • Gather critical data as requested (case notes, LOA dates, etc.) to support the company in its compliance efforts and defense of legal matters
  • Partner and coordinate with workers' comp specialist
  • Coordinate with Team Members and Management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and best practices as it relates to Leave of Absence.
  • Provide support with the administration and processing of Leave of Absence inquiries and accommodation cases, return to work communications, and status changes

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in FMLA and ADA administration
  • Knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, ADA, multi-state requirements
  • Highly organized, strong follow-up skills, and the ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience

Recommended Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with SuccessFactors
  • Knowledge of international leave of absence

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$68,640$91,520 USD
