Sunrun is seeking a skilled Sr. Platform Technology Manager to join our Affiliate Partner organization. The Platform Technology Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of the technology platforms and solutions utilized by our Affiliate network.

The individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and Affiliate partners to ensure that our technology solutions align with business objectives, enhance partner engagement, and deliver significant impact. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Oversee the implementation, integration, and maintenance of technology platforms within the Affiliate ecosystem, including partner portals and analytics tools.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for platform integrity, managing issue resolution and ticketing in coordination with IT and development teams.

  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure seamless implementation of technology solutions, enhancements, and new products.

  • Support Program Management in developing and maintaining the Affiliate Program Technology Roadmap, translating business needs into clear, actionable project briefs and requirements to guide execution and decision-making.

  • Communicate effectively with Product and Engineering Managers to influence the prioritization of Affiliate initiatives on the company roadmap.

  • Collaborate with Program Management to refine project briefs, requirements, and business cases based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business priorities.

  • Work closely with IT Ops to guide the development and implementation of platform and data security protocols, ensuring industry-leading compliance and the safeguarding of customer and partner information.

  • Support partner implementation and technical onboarding, ensuring effective engagement with our tools and resources.

  • Lead the integration of technology solutions with partner systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and data exchange.

  • Utilize Salesforce to create new client profiles, establish hierarchical structures, and generate quoting opportunities.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of technology systems, processes, and integration points for future reference and continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND OTHER SKILLS)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology management, or a related field, with a strong background in channel or partner systems.

  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and project management methodologies.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Asana, Jira, Salesforce, and G Suite.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English; bilingual abilities in Spanish are a plus.

  • Ability to travel as required for successful execution of role responsibilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with the capacity to drive change and innovation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Be able to remain in a seated position for more than 50 percent of the workday

  • Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment

  • Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force and occasionally lift and or move up to 15 pounds

  • Have adequate visual and hearing acuity to follow instructions, operate office equipment and determine the accuracy of the work assigned

  • Ability to perform normal office duties

  • Ability to operate office equipment including computers and determine the accuracy of work

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

$102,905.78 to $137,207.70

Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.  Sunrun provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
