Customer Onboarding is a key focus due to client frustration when digital onboarding is unavailable. Onboarding is the first experience customers have with CBA and must reflect the simplicity of banking with us. Our focus is to enable all entities to onboard digitally, offer a frictionless experience for assisted onboarding, and capture authorities at the customer level through a simple digital experience, allowing customers to self-manage account authorities across products. Our solutions are relied upon and trusted by millions of Australian’s everyday so we put a great deal of emphasis on reliability, performance, security and ease of use.
As a Chapter Lead, you will work with a team of engineers to implement solutions that meet the needs of a wide range of users. As a team you will deliver improved outcomes for our customers and our organisation by delivering high performance, resilient services.
You will:
Lead and inspire an engaged team of talent engineers.
Empower the team to manage their work appropriately, respond to queries, address impediments and problem solve technical issues.
Coach the team and establish mechanisms for peer-to-peer learning and mentoring.
Role model a culture of engineering empowerment, autonomy, psychological safety and constructive challenge.
Communicate to senior management and key stakeholders to ensure a clear pathway to execution.
Communicate Engineering Practice standards and consistent ways of working across the domain and CBA that align to industry standards.
We’re interested in hearing from people who:
Can demonstrate experience of building, leading and empowering software high performing engineering teams.
Have industry experience as a full cycle software engineer
Have a proven track record of developing robust and secure enterprise web services
Possess a depth of knowledge in AWS services such as EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, Step function, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, Encryption, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch)
Have had hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like AWS CloudFormation
And ideally be proficient with:
DevOps tools and version control systems like Github, Github Actions
DevSecOps: Hashicorp Vault, Snyk, CyberArk, Sailpoint,
Caching: Akamai or CloudFlare
Engineering Tooling: Artifactory
Databases: Structured and unstructured
Strong programming/scripting skills
Solid enterprise application architecture experience in design patterns, concurrency and performance
