OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for supporting the strategy, development and execution of marketing campaigns that drives growth of the DICK’S Sporting Goods credit card program and other payment solutions. The Credit Marketing Planner is responsible for the coordination of internal & external stakeholders and campaign timelines for all assigned program tasks. This includes partnering with our Credit Partner & Payment Vendors, Category Marketing, Channel Planning/Media, Creative, Legal, Analytics, Customer Service, Store Operations, eCommerce, Community Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Technology teams to achieve strategic objectives and drive program outcomes.
Leads execution of Credit Acquisition, Lifecycle & Retention offers and campaigns across all DICK’S Brands (DICK’S, Golf Galaxy, Public Lands, Going Going Gone!)
Support campaign strategies by leading the execution of all channels and tactics
Develop annual marketing plans in partnership with credit manager and external credit partner for storewide acquisition offers & financing, online marketing implementation and lifecycle & retention marketing campaigns for existing cardholders.
Coordinate credit annual plan with broader loyalty plans and activations.
Amplify credit acquisition and value prop messaging throughout the DICK’s ecosystem.
Review & partner with credit partner on identifying opportunities throughout the customer journey to optimize acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies.
Support manager on upward migration and audience segmentation strategies by testing and implementing programs.
Test & build world campaigns to grow engagement with credit card outside of DICK’S.
Monitor and manage performance of all key credit & marketing metrics vs plan.
Support post-campaign hindsight reviews focusing on credit & marketing KPI metrics.
Maintain strong knowledge of target customer and reviews industry credit/payment activity to generate prospective ideas and monitor competitive offerings.
Contributes to strategic campaign planning sessions to drive growth of program.
Manage and Lead Marketing Operations for Credit & Payments Instore, Online, and Outbound Communications
Drive credit program to effectively work in an omni-channel environment.
Create and manage annual multi-channel marketing plans in partnership with payment vendors to drive customer awareness, acquisition and usage aligned with company strategic goals.
Lead implementation of all credit and payment campaigns inclusive of creative brief kick-offs, managing & reviewing content creation, sourcing imagery and validating go-live events.
Responsible for internal & external routing creative collateral for review & approval.
Partner with project management leads to ensure projects are on track; identify risks, mitigate issues and identify solutions to problems as they arise.
Refresh store signage, program terms, marketing materials, and all customer touchpoints as necessary for rate changes, program updates and compliance.
Support all aspects of credit program’s value proposition to ensure program profitability and penetration through continued enhancements.
Support larger loyalty team on campaign execution and other duties/special projects as needed.
Serve as Internal Communications Lead and Support Partners
Lead all store communications to support campaign launches including maintaining & distributing credit & payments sign guide.
Field concerns and assist stores as needed.
Oversee budgets throughout the year to support promotional and marketing activities by managing & executing the monthly invoice process.
Support day-to-day relationships with credit and payment partner marketing teams.
Collaborate and work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders such as marketing planning, analytics, store operations, and customer service to ensure alignment on program goals & objectives.
Facilitate, resolve, and escalate credit/payment related questions and issues accordingly (both athlete & teammate).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance
3-5 Years Experience in Marketing, Finance, Loyalty Marketing; Retail experience is desirable
