About the Opportunity
Acciona is seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our expanding team. This role will be integral in the planning and execution of a major Wastewater Treatment Plant project based in our Parramatta office. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in construction scheduling and project management.
As the Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining detailed project schedules, ensuring all activities are aligned with project milestones and deadlines. You will work closely with the project teams to track progress, identify critical path items, and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
Key accountabilities for the position:
· Create, update, and monitor detailed project schedules in collaboration with the project management team
· Analyse project progress, identify delays, and propose mitigation strategies
· Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure schedule adherence
· Report regularly to the project manager on the status of project timelines and any deviations
· Provide guidance and training to staff on scheduling software and best practices
· Conduct schedule audits and provide feedback to ensure accuracy and reliability
Required Skills and Competencies
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others with strong collaboration and communication skills
· Proficient with scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project) and MS Office suite
· Experience in construction scheduling and project management
· Demonstrated ability to work independently to organize and prioritize project demands
· Must be energetic with a positive can-do attitude
