The Payments Entity Management team has responsibility for ensuring the smooth and compliant running of our payment entities around the world. We are looking for an outstanding Regulatory Reporting Oversight Manager.
This role will engage with key partners including Legal, Finance, Product and Technology to ensure reporting requirements are clearly understood and implemented. They will coordinate the improvement of reporting processes for eBay's payment entities. This role involves ensuring data quality and the robustness of the control environment by conducting regular and ongoing assessments to verify the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reports submitted to EU, UK and US regulators, adhering to regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in assurance, complemented by outstanding analytical and interpersonal skills, and be ready to address a dynamic and complex role that involves frequent collaboration with various business units within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Works with Entity Management, Legal, Product, and Technical teams to understand the controls currently in place to minimize risk.
Plan, design, and implement Entity Management’s regulatory reporting quality assurance program.
Testing and validating multiple reports in the US (MSB reporting) to ensure that reports are prepared accurately and in accordance with regulatory reporting requirements, guidance, regulatory expectations and industry standard processes
Through walkthroughs and testing, identifies possible internal control breakdowns and gaps, reports them to Entity Management and works with cross-functional teams to mitigate and remediate.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial and regulatory reporting requirements and offer recommendations to improve controls and processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of the regulatory filings.
Support the General Managers of the regulated entities with audits and regulatory exams as well as requests for information from regulators concerning all reports.
Solve other relevant issues that may arise on an ad-hoc basis and participate in other departmental projects as assigned.
This position requires experience in regulatory reporting for financial services, primarily payments and money services, and experience in running projects.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in regulatory reporting, risk management, or compliance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Establish close working relationships with key business and corporate partners.
Ability to influence and make things happen
Proficiency in SQL and data export
Other:
Experience in assurance services is considered a plus
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.
$106,800 - $162,800Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
