As the Senior Director, Product, Patient Solutions you are responsible for owning the strategic direction of IQVIA's Patient technology products, including defining the vision and overall implementation roadmap and prioritization. You will champion Patient Solutions product innovation and support development of operational strategies to ensure successful implementation and execution of our products.

What you will do:

  • Manage requirements and all activities for a specific IQVIA Patient product or group of products from product development and planning through production, release, and end of life, ensuring quality standards are met and that the products align with the IQVIA’s overall strategy and goals.
  • Lead market assessment and analysis in order to develop and lead product strategy and vision; develop a team culture to drive planning, implementation and prioritization of strategy.
  • Establish and develop strong internal and external partnerships in order to facilitate development and alignment of product strategy.
  • Oversee creation of product design and development specifications, responsible for prioritization and translation of requirements to story points; and manage engineering backlog.
  • Develop strong trustworthy working relationships with product engineering, technical/subject matter experts, and business stakeholders, responsible for related planning, operational, financial, budgeting, and contractual commitments.
  • Integrate AI opportunities to drive product innovation and implementation.
  • Be responsible for the associated product suite financial performance, including capital expenditure and allocation management, meeting revenue targets and managing to the offering set to the Rule of 40 (i.e., revenue growth rate and profit margin should be equal to or greater than 40%).

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in relevant technical product development roles.
  • 10+ years of experience within the Life Sciences industry, CRO’s and clinical trial processes.
  • Specific experience with Life Science patient solutions inclusive of eCOA, IRT, eConsent and, DTP.
  • Proven track record of creating and implementing effective revenue growth strategies. 
  • Established strong and meaningful relationships with external stakeholders in the Patient Product domain.
  • 5+ years of managerial experience leading large and cross functional teams.
  • Broad Management and Leadership knowledge demonstrated ability to lead multiple job areas.
  • Record of successfully meeting revenue objectives; P&L responsibility, including capital expenditures
  • Proven history of driving changes to best practices and approaches to product management.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams
  • Proven track records of managing across organizational teams, inclusive of defining needs, aligning stakeholders and driving results.
  • Excellent communication and trustworthy collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior business leaders and technical teams.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $184,500.00 - $342,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
