Job Description Summary:
***MUST LIVE WITHIN THE STATE OF OHIO***Responsibilities And Duties:
Extracts data from various data sources including electronic medical record, decision support, clinical quality, clinical registries, and claims databases and understands architecture to allow for creative solutions to problems of simple to moderate difficulty. Identifies and gathers detailed business requirements, creates technical documentation, clarifies, interprets and translates specifications as required in order to develop an appropriate information solution utilizing analytic and technical tools such as SAS, SQL and visual analytic tools for requests of moderate difficulty. Understands the importance of data accuracy and consistently uses good skills such as tracking case counts and comparing to known results in order to promote data quality. Looks for and resolves data issues not limited to duplication, corruption, and missing elements etc. . Implements plan to obtain data, sets up and maintains databases, analyzes data and creates reports and graphics for dissemination to stakeholders for projects of moderate difficulty. Troubleshoots errors in results and datasets. Provides timely reports and data extracts and automates programs when it makes sense. Develops methodology for metrics needed for program evaluation at a simple-medium level of complexity. Organizes, manages, and prioritizes daily work accounting for multiple projects with planned deliverables. Knowledgeable in data management, study design and analysis and documents methodology. Actively promotes the correct interpretation of data. Acts as liaison between clinical teams and other IT teams within the system sometimes facilitating as project manager. Works both independently and as team member to develop analytic solutions. . Has ability to extract meaningful information from data and to tell the story to stakeholders. Promotes self-service skills to customers as applicable. Communicates complex information at appropriate level for customer and seeks guidance when needed. Has knowledge and understanding of evidence based standards and benchmark and seeks guidance when needed. Serve as the subject matter expert by providing expert knowledge in all analytics solution design and development initiatives. Promotes self-service reporting tools to maximize organizational self-sufficiencyMinimum Qualifications:
