Position Responsibilities:

  • Drive and execute sales strategies to achieve channel’s business targets.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with FA partners to uncover new business opportunities by identifying client needs, defining target markets, and cross-selling Manulife’s solutions.
  • Serve as the primary Manulife Singapore contact point to all FA firms, including their senior management, sales support staff, and advisers.
  • Build a strong brand presence and enhance sales performance through regular firm visitations, product presentations, and participation in partners' events and activities.
  • Strengthen distributor experience by serving as an enabler in the organization for a seamless application process through working closely with internal stakeholders (Product, Marketing, Underwriting, Legal & Compliance, Concierge and Policy Services)
  • Support the conceptualization and implementation of strategic projects within the channel.
  • Ensure Manulife Singapore stays ahead of the competition by staying informed about the competitive landscape, including distribution strategies, product benchmarking, and business processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or financial services
  • Strong knowledge of the insurance products and sales positioning
  • At least 5 years of experience in life insurance industry
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales and marketing initiatives in the life insurance industry.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with distributors and internal stakeholders
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conducting virtual and in-person sales presentations.
  • Possess business acumen to identify market opportunities and growth, address issues, and provide innovative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales advisory certifications and experience is advantageous
  • Certifications in Life Insurance equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in life insurance industry, preferably in the areas of business development
  • Strong project management skills
