Clinical Strategy Manager - Electrophysiology, Sweden

The Clinical Development Manager (CDM) is a strategic clinical leader responsible for shaping and executing the clinical development and physician engagement agenda within Electrophysiology (EP) across the Nordics, based out of Sweden. This is a field-based role combining deep clinical expertise with strong relationship-building capabilities. The CDM serves as a key driver of clinical strategy, partnering with electrophysiologists, internal leadership, and cross‑functional teams to drive clinical excellence, guide portfolio evolution, and strengthen long‑term physician partnerships aligned with Nordic and global priorities.

Objectives of the position:

Clinical Strategy, Development & Education

·         Own and drive the clinical development strategy for EP therapies in Nordics, ensuring alignment with Nordic and global clinical priorities.

·         Act as a trusted clinical expert, providing advanced scientific and procedural guidance to electrophysiologists.

·         Define the strategic framework for physician education, including national and Nordic educational platforms, faculty development, and peer‑to‑peer engagement models.

·         Identify and prioritize clinical development opportunities and unmet needs across EP centers, translating insights into strategic recommendations and roadmap input.

·         Support clinical collaborations, evidence‑generation activities, and new product or therapy launches.

·         Act as a clinical expert for the introduction and evolution of a state‑of‑the‑art ultrasound portfolio, in collaboration with dedicated field team.

·         Provide senior clinical input into new product introductions, therapy expansion strategies, and lifecycle management.

 

Physician Partnerships & Customer Engagement Leadership:

·         Lead the physician partnership strategy within EP across Nordics.

·         Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with key opinion leaders and senior clinical stakeholders.

·         Act as a primary strategic interface between the EP physician community and the organization, ensuring consistency, credibility, and long‑term partnership value.

·         Oversee and guide high‑impact customer collaborations, educational initiatives, and strategic clinical projects.

·         Partner closely with commercial and regional leadership to align customer engagement strategy with broader business objectives.

·         Gather and communicate customer insights to inform clinical, commercial, and strategic decision‑making.

Nordic Leadership, Alignment & Governance

·         Contribute as a senior clinical voice to Nordic clinical planning, strategy development, and cross‑country alignment.

·         Collaborate with Nordic Clinical Development Manager to ensure alignment, consistency, and best‑practice sharing.

·         Participate in Nordic planning and strategy discussions.

·         Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications

Required

·         Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree strongly preferred.

·         5+ years of progressive experience in clinical development, clinical strategy, or advanced clinical roles within EP or cardiovascular medical devices.

·         Deep understanding of EP procedures, clinical workflows, and hospital decision‑making environments.

·  Located in Sweden and able to travel in the Nordics

·         Demonstrated ability to engage at a peer level with senior electrophysiologists and clinical leaders.

·         Experience operating autonomously in senior field‑based or regional roles.

 

Preferred

·         Established relationships within Swedish EP centers and strong understanding of the Nordic healthcare landscape.

·         Track record of success in strategic physician partnerships, clinical portfolio leadership, or evidence‑generation initiatives.

·         Ability to influence within a global organizations and across geographies.

·         Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

·         Fluency in Swedish and English.
