About the Job...

As a Senior Manager, Sourcing - Wellness, you'll have the opportunity to develop complex sourcing strategies for existing products while also working with Product Developers to create new and innovative products.  You'll work directly with Merchants to ensure critical business metrics are met while influencing future growth strategies to help our customers Save Money and Live Better.

What will you do…

  • Develop sourcing strategies: Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop comprehensive sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and drive cost savings while building supply resilience and maintaining quality standards.
  • Manage supplier relationships: Manage daily supplier relationships across your specific categories.
  • Analyze supplier performance: Evaluate supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance supplier relationships.
  • Lead contract negotiations: Lead contract and cost negotiations with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions, pricing, and service level agreements.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and implement initiatives to streamline sourcing and procurement processes, enhance productivity, and achieve cost savings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, replenishment, operations, product development, quality, compliance, finance, and legal to ensure effective coordination and execution of sourcing initiatives.
  • Conduct market research: Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvements.

  • You have an ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • You are self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • You have strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You have excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You have knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices in sourcing and procurement.
  • You have experience in contract management and negotiation is desirable.
  • You possess natural curiosity to learn beyond the minimum requirements to perform role.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
