We are looking for a Health Information Operations Manager that will be the tip of the spear for our service offering. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor workflows and identify areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Execute on key transformation strategies to ensure all products are effectively utilized. Implement and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity and quality. Lead initiatives to streamline processes and reduce waste.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor operational staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Plan training and utilize development programs to enhance team skills
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational success. Prepare regular reports for senior management on operational performance and improvement efforts
  • Capacity Management: Develop scheduling of resources, proactively plan for additions or reductions of capacity, and balance cost of resources. Ensure resources are utilized effectively to meet operational goals
  • Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the operations budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., People team, IT, finance, product) to ensure alignment on operational goals and support business initiatives
  • Privacy and Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of privacy and risk management within the team
  • Technology Integration: Identify and implement technology solutions to improve operational efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends and innovations that can benefit operations

What you will bring to the table:

  • Experience in a healthcare environment
  • Passion for identifying process improvements and providing solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability in leading employees and processes successfully (30 team members)
  • Coordination experience with site management on complex issues
  • Knowledge, experience and/or training in accurate data entry, office equipment and procedures
  • Openness to travel up to 30% of the time to multiple sites based on the needs of the region.
  • 4+ years of Health Information Management (HIM) related experience
  • 5+ years leadership experience
  • Provider Care Solution experience
  • ROI (Release of Information) exposure.

Bonus points if:

  • Prior ROI management experience
  • RHIT or RHIA Credentials
  • MHA or HIM related degree
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin

Even though this is a remote role, you may need to travel onsite. Our compensation philosophy is to be externally competitive, internally fair, and not win or lose on compensation. Salary ranges for this position are developed with the support of benchmarks and industry best practices.

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is $76,000-$90,000. 

This is an onsite/field-based position and resides in and around the Virginia area. Applicants must reside in the region or must be willing to travel to the region and be onsite 30% of the time.
