Job Description:
General Description: Under the direction of the Executive Director of Clinical Operations, responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing two or more clinical operations with patient visits exceeding 25,000/annually and related fiscal activities; including, but not limited to, developing clinic policies, procedures, assisting in the budget process, resolving problems, managing personnel, communicating effectively with staff, and implementing programs in order to maximize the effectiveness of clinical operations.
Essential Responsibilities:

- Clinical Operations Management. Manages two or more clinical operations with patient visits exceeding 25,000 annually. Develops and implements clinical and operational policies and procedures. Assists Executive Director, Clinical Operations in developing standardized and/or centralized clinical operations; evaluates assigned clinical operations, and conducts analyses and makes recommendations for improvement to assigned clinics.
- Budget Assistance. Assists in the development and implementation of clinical and operational budgets. Ensures that clinical operations are compliant with approved budgets. Actively participates in the review of expenditures; performs cost analyses and related studies and makes recommendations for improvement.
- Problem Resolution. Assists physicians and managers in resolving clinical and operational problems. Mentors others in effective problem resolution. Manages complaints from all sources. Intercedes with physician; addresses complaints. Reviews, investigates and resolves outstanding complaints utilizing the complaint tracking system.
- Personnel Management. Proactively participates in management functions and serves as a positive role model for peers including making recommendations for organizational improvement. Participates in programs designed to improve employee morale and productivity. Serves as a clinical expert and role model for staff. Supervises sizeable staff located in two or more clinics, assesses staffing needs, conducts performance appraisals, handles employee relations issues, and makes recommendations for salary adjustments.
- Communication. Interacts positively with Clinic Medical Directors, Section Chiefs, and Department Chairs. Works to develop sound relationships designed to improve communication and support of the group practice model.
- Program Implementation. Implements various programs, projects, etc. designed to improve work flow process, employee morale, productivity, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field required. Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or closely related field preferred.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of progressive leadership experience required, with experience in clinic management, healthcare administration, or organization management.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s): None required.

- Demonstrated business acumen. Demonstrated business understanding and ability to balance people/ organizational decisions with business considerations. Experience using metrics to drive decisions and working with external vendors.
- Must be a strategic thinker, self-motivated and have excellent problem solving and project management skills
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple high priority deliverables
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office tools
