MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Answers phone calls, manages the department email inbox, and supports visitors with a strong customer service focus.
Manages a detailed and complex calendar, supports time management, and optimizes the President's productivity.
Assists in managing logistics for internal and external meetings and handles reservations for two campus meeting spaces.
Works cooperatively with the administrative assistants team, catering, facilities, campus safety, and other University partners in a collaborative manner.
Carries out administrative duties such as copying, assisting with meeting briefing materials, etc.
Assists with travel arrangements for President such as booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations.
Exhibits polite and professional communication in person and via phone, e-mail, and mail.
OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS
Contributes to the success of Marymount University by performing other responsibilities as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Must hold a high school diploma/ GED; Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS, etc.) preferred
Experience
Proficiency with appropriate software including: Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat
Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
