Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the development and ensure communication/implementation of global and regional procurement strategies for indirect materials and services to maximize procurement efficiency. Each day, you will lead internal stakeholder management across divisions, business areas, and functions in the assigned country. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring compliance and implementation of procurement activities, procedures, and initiatives in the assigned country.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Indirect Procurement function in Czech Republic and Slovakia.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary Procurement contact for Electrification business in Czech Republic & Slovakia, build strong relationships with country leadership and functional stakeholders, understand business needs and engage with key functions to deliver results

• Strategy Deployment & Value Delivery: Support implementation of global and regional IM&S category strategies, drive compliance with preferred suppliers and contracted agreements to ensure value realization

• Sourcing & Procurement Execution: identify and execute cost reduction/cost avoidance and value creation opportunities, lead and support sourcing initiatives (RFPs, RFQs, eAuctions) at local level

• Contract & Supplier Management: Ensure timely contract negotiations and renewals, manage supplier performance and ensure compliance with ESG and sustainability goals, support supplier relationship management and issue resolution

• Digitalization & Data Analytics: Champion digital transformation by integrating AI and digital best practices into everyday procurement and drive adoption of new tools and processes

• Change & Innovation: Act as a change agent, train colleagues and continuously seek out new ways to improve and automate, support implementation of procurement initiatives and programs

• Compliance, Governance & Risk: Ensure adherence to global and local procurement policies, support audit readiness and documentation standard, monitor supply chain and cyber risks, ensuring business continuity and compliance

• Operational Procurement: Lead a team of local Indirect Buyers, ensuring that transactional and supplier onboarding activities are managed continuously and in line with agreed KPIs. Conduct analyses of procurement operational processes to identify, recommend, and implement best practices and innovative solutions that enhance speed, efficiency, and productivity.

Qualifications for the role

• University degree (Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field)

• 5+ years’ experience in procurement, experience in Indirect Materials & Services preferred

• Proactive and collaborative attitude with a focus on growth and innovation

• Strong communication, analytical and project management skills

• Solid negotiations and contract management expertise

• Advanced skills with SAP Ariba, Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint

• Passion for digital innovation and AI in procurement, with hands-on experience using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity

• Fluent Czech or Slovak and English language
