JOB DESCRIPTION:
Strategic Procurement:
- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans for raw materials, aligning with business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts.
Analytics and Insights:- Analyze market trends, prices, and availability to optimize procurement decisions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct spend analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
Supplier Management:- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply, quality and cost leadership
- Collaborate with suppliers to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Risk Management:- Identify and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions, price volatility, and quality issues.
Collaboration and Communication:- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality assurance.
- Communicate procurement strategies and goals to stakeholders.
Project Management :- Initiate and track key strategic projects of Procurement and influence cross-functional stakeholders for timely execution
Financial Management:- Annual Materials Budgeting, RLBEs, Contracting, Purchasing and Controlling in order to meet company’s roll out plans
Compliance:- Adherence to Corporate Purchase Policies, Global Trade compliance policies, Ethics & Compliance policies, Code of Conduct, Quality and Regulatory Policies, EHS Policies etc
- Facilitate Audits (Internal, External, Statutory, System, SOX etc )
- Periodically review and track implementation of recommendations by various auditors
Skill, Education, Experience
Strategy, Project Management, Business Negotiation, Strong data management and analytics, Excellent Communications & data storytelling, Strong Interpersonal and Good organizational skills
Undergraduate degree from a top-tier institute; MBA preferred.
5-10 Years of experience with 3-5 years in management consulting (Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, analytics )
