Responsibilities

Investor Relations:

  • Track “sell side” research on Arch and select peer companies, as well as relevant industry research.

  • Develop/track quarterly earnings consensus estimates.

  • Review “Sell Side” earnings models.

  • Review peer earnings releases and calls quarterly.

  • Develop investor themes in advance of quarterly earnings call.

  • Prepare sample questions in advance of quarterly earnings calls.

  • Develop investor data base and potential targets.

  • Coordinate/manage content on IR website.

  • Monitor industry developments and market trends.

  • Lead the development, management, and maintenance of investor relations materials in collaboration with other key players.

  • Travel for investor meetings.

  • Financial statements.

  • Ratings updates.

Business Development:

  • Create pro forma financial projections within the business units.

  • M&A analysis, develop targets, and recommendations.

  • Develop financial cost modelers to analyze targets.

  • Understand and communicate financial impact and risks of potential acquisitions & investments and recommend remediation actions.

  • Provide objective financial analysis of prospective mergers and acquisitions.

Education and Experience

  • Excellent communication.

  • Financial statement analysis and peer review.

  • Understanding of insurance accounting and business strategies.

  • Strong presentation and PowerPoint skills, advanced level Excel capabilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.

  • Ability to convert complex financial information into understandable text.

  • Ability to partner seamlessly across teams.

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in property casualty insurance industry experience.

  • 5+ years overall professional experience.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in an IR, corporate finance, sell-side/buy-side role.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, corporate communications or a related field.

For individuals assigned or hired to work in California, Colorado, Jersey City, NJ; New York State; and/or Washington State, the base salary range is listed below. This range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

$145,700 - $196,700/year

  • Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs.  The above range may be modified in the future
