Summer Intern – Material Supply Chain

The intern will partner with Accessories Scheduling and Planning. The intern will be exposed to planning and scheduling through the facility, required system setup to drive MRP and appropriate production signals JIT to support both internal and external customers.  In addition, exposure with material flow processing (tugger routes, etc), standard work documents, training, and project management. 

What You Will Do:

• Deepen your understanding of Supply Chain
• Participate in creating Material flow processes to support delivery routes.
• Work with a team to develop and validate results.
• Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline,
• Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly.
• An inquisitive nature that seeks to learn and develop Supply Chain and Material Flow processes.
• Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques 
• A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegion’s business and customers
