Responsible for monitoring vendor quality, compliance, and performance in addition to analyzing trends and making recommendations to Senior Management. In addition, this position oversees the design and implementation of vendor related projects. Responsible for the planning, directing, leading and overseeing of a team of direct reports. Develops and coaches teams to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manages risk within the teams you oversee.
Responsibilities:
Reviews daily drop results/other metrics and provide coaching strategies to vendors and Senior Management. Monitor vendor calls for quality. Follows up on outstanding compliance issues as necessary. Performs periodic reviews on vendor processes, procedures and performance metrics. Leads conference calls with vendors to review scorecard results, areas of opportunity and action planning.
Identifies performance gaps and drive completion of improvement activities or vendor action plans. Develops, maintains, and generates reports illustrating data requested by Senior Management, such reports include: Scorecards, Convoke Reporting, Channel performance metrics, Calibrate call quality, Utilize Tableau Analysis tool to drive performance.
Reviews large amounts of historical data, analyze, draw conclusions and make recommendations that address and/or capitalize on trends. Reviews of the daily drop statistics including comparative analysis to factors such as seasonality, competition and goals. Works closely with Senior Management to identify and maximize opportunities to use information, technology, and reporting to improve performance and business processes.
Analyzes vendor activities and trends and compare analyses against the standards and best practices. Present findings to Senior Management to identify and implement strategies that will impact tactical and strategic goals. Mentors Vendor Management Associates on analytical activities. Project Management. Identifies strategic opportunities and make continuous improvement recommendations.
Works with Senior Management in developing and conducting tactical and reporting strategies to support the Vendor Placement department goals (financial, quality, production, customer service, operational efficiency, etc.). Works with Senior Management to develop external vendor performance goals by forecasting and establishing and monthly goals.
Communicates relevant statistical information to business leaders by providing frequent vendor status reports of key findings and performance levels to Senior Management. Acts as a liaison between internal department and the vendors to troubleshoot any issues with invoices, inventory, compliance and all other account level detail.
Responsible for the coaching, hiring, firing of team members. Provides oversight and direction to staff. Manages the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the department.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
Bachelor's Degree in Business and Management or related field
2+ years in Collections, or related experience
In lieu of a degree, 6+ years in Collections, Vendor Management, Collection Agency/Law Firm Collections Management, Project Management, or related experience

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $65,000.00 to $109,800.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package.
