What you'll do:

Partners with Lines of Business, Risk, and Compliance professionals, to create, implement, maintain, and oversee an effective products and services risk program. Works with Product Administration, and technology and business Data Governance to ensure accuracy of Product and Service catalog. Identifies gaps and informs solutions to work towards data accuracy within the system of record and integration between program controls. Identifies, responds, and/or escalates risks as appropriate. Serves as a functional liaison between the Lines of Business and the Lines of Defense.
The Lead will partner with senior leaders in both the first and second lines of defense to oversee an effective program managing Product and Service Delivery Risk for externally offered banking products.
This Lead will coordinate projects to identify gaps and drive solutions that ensure effective and sustainable product and service delivery risk management. This includes supporting our data management capabilities.
This Lead will facilitate the governance processes for the enterprise product catalog for externally offered products and services, inclusive of credibly challenging completeness of the inventory.

What we are looking for:

  • Partner with the second line of defense to define and execute product and service rating process and reporting to senior management.
  • Conduct regular product attestations.
  • Partner with the second line of defense to complete product and service risk assessments including project planning, data collection/analysis/synthesis, SME reviews, process mapping, gap analyses, and assessment process development.
  • Coordinating and overseeing testing to support risk assessment results as appropriate.
  • Produce deliverables and presentations for senior audiences.
  • Provide updates and guidance on program initiatives to Business Line stakeholders.
  • Performing reviews of impacted business lines to verify adherence to program requirements.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance,  Business (or related field) is required
  • 5+ years of applicable experience
  • Experience working on project-based teams, preferably in the financial industry
  • Direct experience managing across a diverse set of bank functions, including Business Lines, Risk / Compliance, and other Corporate Functions
  • Awareness of industry-leading practices related to product inventory and product-related risk assessment.
  • Considerable understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls.
  • Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance competencies.
  • Prior experience working on coordinated initiatives to implement policy and program changes.
  • Strong analytical, process facilitation and project management skills.
  • Effective presentation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective relationship building and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
  • Experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance platforms (GRC). Workiva, SAI360 experience a plus.
