Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) Supply chain Systems is currently looking for Senior Functional Analyst - Supply Chain to join our product management team in Kent, WA.

This position will lead our efforts on the enterprise raw material aggregation strategy and production planning applications. The successful candidate will be able to partner with business leaders in this area to drive business requirements into IT solutions, both maintaining and enhancing our SAP and custom developed applications providing capabilities in this key strategic area of Boeing’s supply chain.

The successful candidate will be able to partner with business leaders in this area to drive business requirements into IT solutions, both maintaining and enhancing our SAP and custom developed applications providing capabilities in this key strategic area of Boeing’s supply chain.  Effective leadership of this team will enable Boeing to vastly improve a key strategy in commercial airplane growth and cost efficiency as we work to double the scope of these business processes.  We are looking for a proven leader who can drive impactful change into the business while improving application team effectiveness. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Holds responsibly for business relationship, application roadmaps, requirements mapping, backlog management, solution delivery, and technical supplier relationship that encompass the team’s software capability delivery
  • Collaborates with cross functional teams comprising of business subject matter experts (SMEs), Architects, Developers and System Integrators (vendor consultants) on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current systems for projects and products
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs; create and update associated documentation
  • Develops, reviews, and maintains functional/application design documents in collaboration with stakeholders and partners
  • Participates in the project delivery during testing cycles and lead the root cause analysis and correction of issues

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

 Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • 5+ years of professional IT experience in an application development role, performing core activities across the software lifecycle - from requirements gathering and design to coding, testing, integrations, deployments, and production support
  • 5+ years of experience in the documentation, analysis, research, and design of solutions within a medium to large enterprise using SAP-ECC and a release management program
  • 5+ years of successful direct or indirect team leadership experience focused on leading analytical projects, product development, and delivery, and high quality executive briefings

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with planning integration with external systems
  • Experience with IT Development in Aerospace & Defense industry
  • Experience with SAP ECC, .Net development, cloud modernizations (including Microsoft Azure), Oracle and/or SQLServer databases
  • Experience with sourcing management of application development vendor / partner
  • Experience with IT architecture roadmap development, particularly in Supply Chain domain

Typical Education/Experience: 

Typically, 9 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary Pay Range: $118,150 - $159,850
