Job Summary

Machine Operators are entry-level operators who are responsible for running machines packaging. Responsible for assembling boxes and properly aligning them on various different packing machines in either department(injection molding, blow molding, reheat stretch, imprinting) to be filled with product. Also responsible for inspecting, labeling, sealing, scanning, and stacking boxes on skids in preparation for product to be shipped.

Experience Preferred:

  • +6 months production machine operating experience
  • Manufacturing environment experience

Employment Requirements:

  • Climate Ranging from 70 – 100 degrees F
  • Impact resistant safety shoes
  • No Jewelry, including facial piercings, wedding rings, watches, etc
  • No cellphones on production floor, personal items will be kept in provided lockers onsite
  • No pocket knives or firearms on company grounds
  • Must wear the specified PPE at all times: bump caps, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes
  • Abide by all Safety, GMP, and quality regulations

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Employee could be exposed to seasonal weather conditions if required to go outdoors. Proper use of PPE is required at all times.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be regularly required to:

  • Remain stationary extended periods of time
  • Move around production floor
  • Communicate with subordinates
  • Position self to ground level as needed
  • Move, adjust, and position anywhere from 10 to 25 lbs
  • Identify, recognize and assess periodic documents, machinery and more.
