This Director, Strategic insights  is critical to accelerating the commercialization of data assets  within Commercial Strategy & Innovation (CSI) segment. The role will be accountable capturing and providing actionable insights to inform business and product strategies.  

The scope of this role is expansive, encompassing ownership of strategic initiatives and data-driven insights that, in concert with cross-functional teams, will propel business growth and revenue expansion. This position requires a high degree of collaboration, innovation, and accountability, as it serves as a catalyst for driving organizational success and achieving key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify growth opportunities and optimization strategy through exploratory analysis, hypothesis testing
  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative customer and industry data to synthesize hypothesis, pilot proof of concepts, iterate solution to production and scale solution/ analysis across the organization.
  • Lead cross functional teams in analysis to understand market trends, process gaps, strategic synergies and provide actionable plans to leverage insights
  • Leverage CSI’s assets to build next generation products focused on delivering value for customer.
  • Support the CSI segment leadership team in the development of Customer Ops/CSI cross-segment product strategy and provide thought leadership through stitching of  critical market, competitive, and customer insights. 
  • Develop actionable insights to inform business and product strategies.   
  • Collaborate closely with the CSI team to identify opportunities for new innovative products. Provide support in the development of business cases and performance monitoring to ensure we are prioritizing the most impactful opportunities to build and enhance product offerings that provide customer value.
  • Develop and execute innovative experiments and campaign initiatives to drive business growth and identify opportunities for optimization.

Minimum Requirement

  • Degree or equivalent experience in business, data science, information technology or health care administration
  • Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience
  • 4+ years of people management experience.

Critical Skills

  • 4+ years managerial experience in a related field with a proven history of delivering strategic insights and analytics to support business development, new products, or operational improvements.
  • Experience working in highly-matrixed environments developing / enhancing internal and market facing products.
  • Prior experience using analytics to create business value
  • Good understanding of software engineering frameworks and use of API  to commercialize data products
  • Excellent communication skills- verbal, written and presentation
  • 3-year Hands-on Python coding skills and familiarity with Scikit, Pandas
  • 4-year Hands on SQL skills
  • Deep understanding of at least two or more ML algorithms- clustering, regression, outlier detection, deep learning, time series analysis etc.

  • Demonstrated expertise in using analytics and advanced techniques to drive business outcomes
  • Demonstrates success in building and leading high functioning teams.
  • Experience with business consulting frameworks to identify value
  • Experience providing recommendations and guidance to senior leadership on key strategic decisions, initiatives​ and associated risk.
  • Healthcare/LS Knowledge: knowledge of stakeholders, trends, economic drivers, and policies across healthcare
  • Strategic leader with successful track record of driving change and delivering high quality results.   
  • Experience identifying strategic growth opportunities and developing long-term strategic plans.​
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, collaborating with colleagues, and managing competing priorities.​
  • Experience creating comprehensive business cases that outline the product viability​.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$151,000 - $251,600
