Job Description

Opportunity:

We are currently looking for a dynamic, goal-oriented Health and Wellness Assistant to help facilitate our wellness and benefits initiatives.

Duties:

  • ​Assist with managing the creation and day to day activities of the wellness program (four pillars: Physical, Mental, Spiritual and Financial) through registration, communication, and measured effectiveness. Serve as main point of contact for Wellness Ambassador Program.
  • Assist with benefit tasks such as but not limited to (updating benefit materials, dependent verification, ergonomic requests, benefit educational tips, etc.). 
  • Track wellness expense and provide reports to an established budget; ensuring that spending is in alignment with wellness program expectations
  • Present a wellness program/activity every other month
  • Produce two quarterly Benefit/Wellness newsletters (Benefit Tips and Retirement Readiness)
  • Assist with answering wellness and benefit questions.
  • Serve as back up to Benefit Administrators where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or completion of program of 18+ months after high school.-Business Management
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
  • Ability to organize, track and manage complex processes.
  • Strong presentation skills; computer skills, management and leadership skills, problem solving.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, strong networking and ability to interact with a wide variety of professionals including high level administration, employees, food service and healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of benefits and wellness concepts.
