Education required: Undergraduate studying a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Sciences, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Marketing, Communications or Business disciplines

Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a credit-bearing internship

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English  

Expected Start date: January to June 2025

What will you do?  

You will be required to support and assist regional commercial managers in the activities in relation to our HIV product portfolio:   

Responsible for the communications (both internal and external) and coordination with project medical & communication agencies   

Assist in development of regional marketing materials  

Preparation of promotional materials for regional marketing campaigns  

Getting approval and certification for marketing materials that is in line with industry and company guideline.   

Analyse market trends and provide suggestions and tactical support to continuously innovate and keep up-to-date with the evolving environment including omnichannel 

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Medical, compliance and LOC teams to drive projects and achieve operational goals  

Actively participate and contribute to team meeting discussions  

Any other ad hoc tasks that may be required 

What will you learn?

  • Learn more about the Pharmaceutical industry (mainly the HIV portfolio for selected regional markets) and acquire practical and technical knowledge on marketing and the commercial processes pivotal for operational successes 

  • Materializing implementation of business strategies and scientific based communication ideas on paper into a real competitive market by being part of content and communications development in collaterals and activities 

  • Develop business acumen skill sets through understanding the strategies applied and levers affecting the HIV business portfolio 

  • Stakeholder Management - Opportunity to work with stakeholders across the organization including sales, marketing and medical affairs  

  • Business management Skills – Gain understanding on how to market a product in an ethical environment 

  • Project Management Skills – Coordination and facilitation of different crucial elements of a business plan execution

  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written   

  • Positive attitude with a keen interest to learn.   

  • Ethically grounded due to the nature of information that you will be in contact with.   

  • Proficient in use of IT and software/systems, ideally document management and database systems 

  • Keen attention to details   

  • Deadline-driven, flexible with self-reliance to work in an empowered environment.  

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think and work independently, problem-solve, work in teams, and focus on delivering assigned work
