Intelligence activity is an important and a central function to many areas of the FCA and is embedded in many of our processes; with accuracy, timeliness, and relevance at the heart of what we deliver. It is important we provide the highest quality intelligence products and that they are shared appropriately (in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our gateways) and with consideration of the wider value therein. We are therefore not solely focused on EMO work and operate more broadly across the financial and economic crime landscape internally and externally, working to national law enforcement standards in the management of our intelligence information.
