Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Loads and Dynamics Engineer to join our dynamic team in Huntington Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in the aerospace or defense industry, with a strong focus on multibody dynamics simulations and ensuring performance of aircraft through precise coupled load analysis and environmental calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed load and stress analysis for various components and systems, including rotating turbo-machinery.

  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to optimize structural performance and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and multi-physics simulations to predict structural and modal behavior under various load conditions.

  • Support flight test operations by providing load and balance data and analyzing test results.

  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to ensure design integrity and manufacturability.

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to load and balance analysis, including technical reports and certification documents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in loads, dynamics, and/or stress analysis within the aerospace or defense industry.

  • Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) software and other relevant engineering tools.

  • Strong understanding of structural and modal analysis principles and general purpose multi-physics simulations..

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
