Product Manager  - Local Payment Methods (PIX), Payments Growth Latam

The Payments Growth team is responsible for building, maintaining, and driving growth and adoption of our local payment methods. As a Product Manager in the Payments Growth team, you play a key role in the team’s success.

You will be focused on managing products such as Pix and Boleto, being responsible for the product vision, managing the product roadmaps with the developer team, scoping and delivering new features and promoting initiatives to enable growth and increase product adoption. 

This is a varied, hands-on role in which your responsibilities will range from solving daily operational challenges to keeping track of the regulatory landscape in order to define the product strategy. Being able to interact with international teams is key, since your scope will encompass payment methods from Brazil and Mexico, working closely with Adyen's teams in Amsterdam and North America.

What you’ll do

  • You will be responsible for the discovery, building, and delivery of key features for Local Payment Methods in Latam working closely with our engineers.
  • Develop and execute product strategies to drive growth and adoption of Pix and Boleto in the Brazilian market.
  • Keep track of the regulatory landscape, conduct market research, analyze trends, and identify opportunities to enhance the performance and functionality of our products.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Commercial teams to actively listen to our Merchants in order to drive new features and improvements that can help their needs.
  • Provide reliable insights in key performance indicators throughout the complete value chain to steer further improvements, as well as executing on those.

What you need to succeed

  • Experience delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders;
  • You are familiar with payment methods and have previous experience working as a product manager or product growth;
  • You are a quick learner and a generalist who is able to navigate through multiple and diverse subjects and knowledge areas; 
  • Ability to interact and cooperate seamlessly with a global team;
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment;
  • Commercially savvy;
  • Previous experience with Pix is a plus;
  • Experience with tools and languages such as Looker and SQL are a plus, but not compulsory
